Banessa was born and raised in Houston, Texas and relocated to St. Louis a year ago to pursue further education. She served four years of active duty in the United States Army, during which she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Banessa is now a 2L at Saint Louis University School of Law, aspiring to become an immigration attorney after passing the bar. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is passionate about helping others and creating a space where people feel comforted and supported.
